Well, we have been in the UK fo 6 months now- wow what a rollercoaster it has been!!
- First we are moving in 2 weeks. We will be moving to a place called Welwyn Garden City, in Hertfordshire. Funnily enough it is actually the town across from St Albans where Jac was living when over here. We will be moving from our 1 bed flat in London- into a share house. Luckily the share house gives us our own bathroom so we don't have to share, and the thing I am looking forward to the most having a backyard and clothes line. It will mean it takes Daniel 5 minutes to get to work. It takes about 30 minutes from WGC station to Kings Cross so still good access to London.
- I have after months of anguish quit my job. I am so happy to have done it. For those who have heard the stories, it has been pretty bad. I had many a day where I was reduced to tears. Plus I am pretty sick of working almost every weekend. I don't have a new job lined up, but will hopefully find something within a few weeks of moving to Welwyn. I dont mind what I do but preferably not retail.
- We are planning to dedicate more time to travel, especially as Daniel will be out of his 3 month probation period. We are planning a trip to Germany in September (might coincide with octoberfest). Once Daniel's cricket is over we will also try to take more weekends away.
- I am finally getting over my homesickness (well almost). Not as emotional as I was in June. At this stage I will be coming home in 2010. Once sam has her baby I think it will be hard to keep me away!
- Daniel's job is great! The IT team he is working in get along really well. They have gone go-karting, to the driving range and sometimes have lunch at the pub. He is really challenged by what he is doing and is looking forward to doing more and more training.
- I have really enjoyed playing Versatility (indoor netball but with a twist). Our season has finished and I played with a real great bunch of ladies. We won 3 games- the first and last two. I am sad I wont be able to play anymore.
- I also joined a rotaract club. These are more great people I have had the pleasure of meeting. From all over the world. I am going to try to keep meeting up with them once I move but we'll see what happens.
- Daniel's cricket has been a bit up and down. He was getting very frustrated with his team losing badly each week. He was in seconds, but has dropped himself to thirds. Has had mixed success with the bat and ball.
- I Think thats about it for now. Hope you are enjoying reading :)

Renault World Series race day- Silverstone
We went to a race day for Renault cars. It was a pretty good day, nice weather and we got a bit sunburnt. The cars were amazingly fast and that sound of them speeding round the track makes you get excited!
The only downside of the day was it taking us 2 hours to travel 10 miles to get there.. the queues were huge!
