We had brekkie at the hotel- croissants and baguettes, then set out towards Switzerland. We travelled through many more pretty little towns and soon got on the Motorway to cross the border. We had to buy a motorway pass for 30 euros and soon were driving through Basel. It looked to be a fairly industrial city so we kept onwards towards Zurich. We stopped near a town called Frick, which had lovely scenery with small farms nestled at the base of mountains. We eventually stopped for the night in a small town just outside Zurich called Baden. Unfortunately we got a tad lost and at one point even ended up in a pedestrian only area. Ret and I went to the tourist information area where a girl helped us out. She was very friendly and booked a hotel for us. It is amazing how well she spoke english, even though she said she was not very good at it. That night we went for a drive through town but settled for dinner at the restaurant in out hotel. The meal was tasty, I had a pasta that was twice as big as I could eat. We stayed at La Capella Hotel.
